Chipping Norton Golf Club

FOUNDED in 1890, our scenic archetypical parkland course is set in glorious countryside just outside the market town of Chipping Norton, the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’.

As a ‘members club’ we are able to offer the most attractive subscription rates and flexible membership categories in the region.

All categories of membership are currently available, including our ’unique’ Associate, Academy and Phased Membership for the 18 to 28-year-old age group.

We are proud of our prestigious ‘GolfMark’ status, awarded in recognition of our commitment to junior and beginner friendly golf facilities. The club encourages both competitive and social golf for all members and runs a wide range of competitions and inter-club matches for ladies, juniors, gents and seniors.

We also have a highly popular and unique reciprocal arrangement with 14 prestigious golf clubs, where members can play a ‘four ball’ for £5. (see Membership for details).

Our modern clubhouse is the venue for a full programme of social events and is equipped with excellent bar and restaurant facilities. 

New driving range and practice facility

We are delighted to confirm that Chipping Norton Golf Club and Keltbray Golf Environmental have joined forces to construct a new practice facility for club members and visitors on a section of disused land owned by the golf club.

The development will create a three-hole par 3 practice course short game area and 14-bay driving range incorporating a new pro shop. The new facilities will be a major asset to the club in supporting our Junior and Academy programmes and will be ideal for youth development and assisting beginners with formative development through state-of-the-art practice facilities and coaching.

The one year construction project commences late summer 2011. Keltbray Golf Environmental specialises in design and construction of golf courses, sports facilities and specific restoration projects.
